Petrina would have to be one of the kindest persons I know but don’t let that fool you… When the WOD starts 3..2..1..GO! She attacks every workout the like a demon! Petrina has done every challenge we have done and has a constant pursuit of making a better version of herself. She’s a superfit mum with a very grounded moral compass and we love her for that!

Age : 38 years Occupation: Art Teacher How long have you been at Access? One year What do you enjoy outside of Crossfit? I love cooking, and spending time with my partner finding new places to eat and drink. Favourite WOD/Movement? Love Squats and burpees. Least favourite? Running and Wallballs… What is biggest achievement so far? Biggest achievement would be starting to do some of the RX wods! What are my future goals? To get better at the gymnastics moves and more RX wods… Who’s your box buddy? My workout buddys are all the 5.30am regs Why did I start CrossFit? I stated crossfit because I was was bored with going to the gym and wanted to try something more challenging…I started at another box just having PT sessions and I loved it, but when I changed jobs I found it difficult to get to and stopped crossfit for two years, I was really missing that kind of work out so I hunted out somewhere close to home and thats when found access …from day one I loved it, I pretty much just came to a the 5.30 class one morning and never stopped. What do I love about CrossFit Access? They made it so easy to sign up, the coaching was awesome and the scaling of workouts made it less intimidating after such a long break from CrossFit. I love the community feel when ever I’m at the box. Any advice for anyone just starting their CrossFit journey? My advice to anyone thinking of starting CrossFit is just do it! With such friendly members and supportive coaching along with workout scaling to suit every one you are only going to love it more and more every time you come !
