Being a shift worker makes it easy to blame the no sleep excuse but John manages his time and always gets to class. He will work on his weakness and is an awesome bloke to have around the gym!

What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit: 4 wheel driving, spending time with my son.
What is your favourite and least favourite movement movements: least favourite – wall balls, most favourite – pushups and chin ups.
Biggest achievement so far: 170KG back squat.
Who’s your workout buddy: Robbie and Clint
I started CrossFit because I left the army and didn’t have any workout camaraderie, and didn’t have anyone to push me anymore. What I love about CrossFit is the family friendly environment that allows me to bring my family along and meet all the great people at the box. Also we have heaps of fun when everyone gets together and pushes each other to achieve things they would not have otherwise achieved.
I think for anyone wanting to start their CrossFit journey they should ask themselves what do I have to lose. Meet great people, have fun, get fit and involve the whole family.
