Huge congratulations to Chris Cooper for winning our member of the month in December 2018! Its been awesome to have Chris training with us for a few years now, and see Chris so consistent even with his shift work, training early morning or afternoon. Chris always listens intently and focuses on his technique. We look forward to watching Chris achieve his goals this year!

How long have you been at Crossfit Access? 2 years
What do you enjoy outside of CrossFit? I like to travel. I’m lucky as i have lots of school and uni friends in different countries.
|Tell us something we don’t know about you. I used to live in Queensland|
Who’s your box buddy? 6:30 am crew
Why did you start CrossFit? I wanted a change from the usual gym regime and a trainer from my old gym had started going to CrossFit so a few of us started going with her on Monday mornings for fun and to try it out.
What do you love about CrossFit Access? The community, there is always a different mixture of people at any of the classes so you can have a good laugh with a work out. That’s so refreshing after a full on day at work.
Any advice for anyone just starting their CrossFit journey? I’m not that competitive so i’d say have a go and enjoy it.
What is your favourite and least favourite movements or WODs?
Favourite: deadlifts and rowing
Least favourite: wall balls and running
What your biggest achievement so far? Linking kipping pull ups
What are your future goals? Being able to do them in a WOD
