Karen trains regularly in the morning CrossFit classes and is a regular member at our specialty classes, to show that she wants to really work her weaknesses and continually see progress. So happy to see Karen progressing and improving day to day!

How long have you been at CrossFit Access? About 6 months
What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit? Travelling as much as possible
What is your favourite and least favourite movements or WODs? Deadlifts and Snatches
What your biggest achievement so far? Getting double unders
What are your future goals? To be able to do a pullup
Tell us something we don’t know about you. I left Scotland when I was 22 to go travelling for a year, but only made it as far as Australia, and never went home.
Who’s your box buddy? All the 5.30 am regulars at Morley
Why did you start CrossFit? I was bored of the training that I was previously doing, and wanted more of a challenge.
What do you love about CrossFit Access? The community, the varied training and being pushed every day.
Any advice for anyone just starting their CrossFit journey? Try not to be intimidated or worried about not being able to do all of the movements. Just keep showing up and you'll find yourself improving every week.
