From a young age, I found solace in the realm of sports. Growing up, I delved into a diverse array of athletic pursuits, which molded me into the well-rounded coach I am today. I kicked off my journey on the rugby field, honing my skills and embracing the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Rugby not only fostered my love for the game but also taught me valuable life lessons about dedication, sacrifice, and resilience. As the years unfolded, I expanded my horizons and ventured into other sports, including basketball, martial arts, tennis & wakeboarding. Each sport brought its own set of challenges and triumphs, sculpting my character and instilling in me an unwavering determination to push boundaries and strive for greatness. These experiences laid the foundation for my coaching philosophy, which revolves around holistic development, mental fortitude, and nurturing a growth mindset. Among my athletic achievements, a few highlights stand out. In high school, I captained my rugby team, leading by example both on and off the field. This milestone reinforced my belief in the power of effective leadership, motivating me to guide athletes toward reaching their full potential. Additionally, I excelled in martial arts, earning accolades and competing in tournaments, which instilled in me an appreciation for the intricacies of athletic performance and the importance of technique and conditioning.
In my adult life, I found myself straying away from the active lifestyle I once embraced. The rugby boots and wakeboard were exchanged for a desk job, and over time, I let myself go. However, it was during a memorable holiday in Thailand that everything changed. As I flipped through the photos capturing the adventures and experiences, I was startled by the person I saw staring back at me—an unrecognizable version of myself. That moment served as a wake-up call, igniting a burning desire for personal change. Determined to reclaim my health and vitality, I sought the guidance of a remarkable Personal Trainer who became instrumental in my transformative journey. Under their expert tutelage, I was introduced to the world of CrossFit—a dynamic and holistic approach to fitness that would forever alter the course of my life. As I immersed myself in the world of CrossFit and witnessed the incredible results it brought about, I felt a newfound sense of inspiration to share this transformative experience with others. With an unwavering passion to empower individuals on their own fitness journeys, I embarked on the creation of CrossFit Access—a platform where people could access the tools, support, and guidance they needed to transform their lives. Since the inception of CrossFit Access, I have been privileged to witness countless individuals undergo remarkable transformations. I have had the honor of coaching individuals from all walks of life, guiding them as they shed self-doubt, embrace their inner strength, and exceed their own expectations. The joy of witnessing individuals unlock their true potential and embrace a healthier, more vibrant existence fuels my commitment to coaching every day.
My coaching philosophy at CrossFit Access centers on fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment, where individuals feel supported, motivated, and inspired. I prioritize individualized training programs that cater to unique goals, needs, and abilities, ensuring that each person receives the personalized attention they deserve.
